About the Book

This book is dedicated to my 2 sons, Thomas and Nicholas, whom I read to every night when they were very young. When I did not have a book at my fingertips, I made up a story, which they loved. My sons and husband of 30 years are so dear to me, that I can only wish this kind of family on my readers, family, and friends. It was in fact my sons who encouraged me to start the effort involved with the publication. Love of reading and writing never seems to leave one's heart.

About the Author

Dottie Allegro-Canal was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, but has lived in California for many years. She has written many children's books but only recently got up the courage to seek publication. She is married and has 2 sons, to whom she constantly read when they were much younger.
