Joan has worked for over thirty years for a major pharmaceutical company but enjoys writing about fantasy and fiction in her spare time. She loves reading, nature, poetry, the ballet, cooking, long walks, her surrogate cockapoo, Daisy, and the sense of ridiculous. Her stories and poems are inspired by the simple beauty of her natural surroundings and the subtle humor found in everyday living.
