Jesse woke up surrounded by the dead. He had done a terrible deed, and he knew the time would come when he had to pay for his sin. The weight of his mother’s murders was on his shoulders now. If only he could fix her wrongs, he wouldn’t have to fear for his own life. But, the damage had been done, and he would soon face his own demise at the hands of his mother’s victims. There was no escaping what lurked in the darkness.
Derrik Turner was born and raised on the southside of Chicago. He is the youngest of four siblings. He attended Hyde Park Career Academy, class of “85” and went on to attend Columbia College where he studied Fine Arts and Creative Writing. Years later he enrolled in the Men’s Bible Institute in Chicago Illinois, where he studied Biblical Theology. He published his first book in January 2017, and has since then, written six more. He continues to write as his full-time occupation.
