About the Book

Catfish Don’t Count is a collation of my adventures or should I say misadventures regarding fishing the great outdoors both fresh and salt water. There are a lot of books out there describing how everything goes right but not many where the Author puts his head on the chopping block in the name of a good laugh. Catfish Don’t Count covers my fishing adventures from childhood to the present with my long suffering family in tow. This is a light hearted read which I hope will bring a laugh to those who read it.

About the Author

Most of my working life was spent as a Fire-fighter in Australia until I ventured into more varied pursuits in emergency response and Safety roles. During this time, I have had the opportunity to visit some truly wonderful areas ideal for the outdoors lover within. My writing began with articles published in various magazines both in Australia and New Zealand with some success as these articles were fuelled with my warped sense of humour. I started to document these adventures and have finally got around to putting them in this book... I have enjoyed writing this book and hope you all get a laugh out of it.
