Items Summary
Have you ever wondered what your dog would be like as a human? In this story poem about a Cockapoo named Daisy, the proud owner does just that as she imagines her doggy “frolicking through life sans floppy ears and fur”. Sharing this notion with Daisy, the owner lets her know the world is her oyster and the sky is the limit, while she envisions Daisy making her mark in life as the model person with the most admirable attributes. Daisy is nothing less than beautiful, intelligent, capable, educated, talented, accomplished, popular, and more. But then the story takes a poignant turn as the owner reflects on the loving personality of the dog and the boundless joy she has brought to her life. Realizing what she would miss if Daisy were actually living the grandiose life that she had imagined brings a change of heart and an appreciation for reality. On second thought, she’ll keep her darling Cockapoo just the way she is.
