About the Book

Bucky has always been a little different from a normal seven year old. He never has enough time in the day for all the adventures he dreams about. His trusted sidekick, the Navigator, helps with all his explorations. The Navigator has been with Bucky since his birth. The Navigator was created by his grandmother when he was born in honor of his grandfather, a World War 11 veteran of the Air Force. So with this, we can understand why the Navigator helps with courage and security they both need for each adventure. On this adventure Bucky and the Navigator want to find the hiding places of the Night Wheezers, so far, all he has to go on is the sound they make in the darkness. Come join in their first adventure. I think you will agree he is an original boy wonder!

About the Author

My name is Kristiana Pelot; I am a retired Barber Stylist. I have been a Barber for 43 years and loved my career all these years. I have lived in 3 different states and reside in the great state of Texas now. Living here helped me realize my dream of writing and bring Bucky alive. I am a quilter and have developed a certain baby blanket that has a buddy that matches the fabric I use in the design of the blanket. People that bought my blankets told me their child loved their blanket. I put the security of the blanket for a child and their desire to explore their world together and came up with Bucky and the Navigator. Bucky and the Navigator coexist out of my passion as a quilter and childhood imagination. I think all of us can relate to someone as a child that loved their blanket. The illustrations were designed by Laura Yeakey, she took my vision and made Bucky a real little boy I could write about. I hope to bring a shared experience with your children as you go on an adventure with Bucky and the Navigator Welcome to our World!
