Dr. Parviz Maftoon is an associate professor of teaching English at Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran, Iran. He has taught BA, MA, and PhD English language courses at various Iranian universities for the past thirty years. His main research interests are teaching methodology, second language acquisition, and syllabus design.
