Reality check: Nobody likes to read a poorly formatted book. So, we’ve designed the right solution.
BookVenture’s Formatting & Layout service provides you the following:
- Template-based or Customized options
- Work with professional layout artists
- From 1 up to 3 rounds of cost-free revisions
- Advanced formatting options
- Accommodates special instructions from author clients
Basic
Basic Formatting & Layout fits well with books having straight narrative such as author’s photo and/or publisher logo. It is highly recommended for books entailing straight narrative such as photo of the author and/or logo of the publisher.
Features:
- Template-based
- Recommended for books that consist of straight narrative (ex. Novels).
- Strictly based on templates. Authors cannot touch the format or layout.
- One (1) round of free revision (the number of corrections are not limited as long as it is given one-time).
Disclaimer:
The basic service does not include layout in images, tables, graphs, lists, subheading, poetry, footnotes, etc.
Customized
Share your layout and formatting ideas to our artists and we’ll accommodate advanced formatting options for your book. This include insertion of up to 25 images, drop caps, fonts, chapter titles, page number placement, tables, charts, text boxes, graphs, lists, subheading, blockquotes, footnotes, and poetry.
Customized Layout & Formatting service gives you the full preference to instruct BookVenture artists and formatters regarding the overall formatting and layout of your work.
Features:
- Fully customizable
- Advanced formatting options
- Recommended for specialty books like: textbooks, structured poetry, etc.
- Limited to three (3) rounds of free revisions.
Disclaimer:
Succeeding corrections will be priced depending on complexity.
How It Works:
- Fill out the Order Form (OF) sent by our Publishing Consultant and attach the manuscript on your reply. You may also contact our Publishing Consultants through info@bookventure.com or give us a call at 1-877-276-9751 or 1-877-684-1686 (fax).
- BookVenture’s Publishing Consultants will forward the manuscript to the layout artist.
- After layout & formatting, the artist will forward the initial formatted manuscript to the Consultant.
- The consultant will send the initial formatted manuscript to the author for approval. Once approved, the author needs to send back the approval form to BookVenture.
- A status report will be made upon completion of the process and will be sent to the author.
